Why Pumply exists
Fuel prices and availability can vary across brands, stations, cities, and timing. Many drivers still rely on word of mouth, roadside checks, or guesswork before they buy fuel.
Pumply exists to make that process easier. Instead of arriving at a station without knowing what to expect, people should be able to compare options, understand the latest fuel context, and make better decisions before they spend.
How Pumply gets price information
Pumply shows different kinds of fuel information for different purposes, and we do not treat them as the same thing.
Community station reports come from Pumply users at specific outlets. These help people understand what a station may be charging nearby, but they can still vary by branch, city, time, and availability.
Pumply also shows current brand reference prices on the website so readers can compare brands quickly in the active pricing window.
Where available, we add official NPA floor prices and NPA ex-pump workbook history for context. Those official references help explain the pricing window and historical brand movement, but they are not the same as every live station price on the ground.
How to use Pumply
- Check nearby stations before you set off.
- Compare petrol, diesel, LPG, and EV charging options.
- Look at when a price was last updated so you understand how recent it is.
- Report prices after buying fuel to help other drivers.
- Suggest missing stations so coverage keeps improving.
Accuracy and trust

That is why Pumply shows update times and context where it can. We want users to understand whether they are looking at an official NPA reference, a Pumply brand benchmark, or a community-reported station price.
Pumply aims to be useful and honest, not perfect. You should still verify at the pump before you buy.
